Hengpu Laser is a High-tech enterprise founded in 2013 by a team of U.S.-educated PhD holders. We are dedicated to the promotion and industrialization of advanced laser 3D-printing technologies for engineering manufacturing. As pioneers and trailblazers in China’s civil 3D-printing sector, we hold an internationally advanced position in both large-format component printing and specialty ceramic additive manufacturing. Our proprietary ceramic 3D-printing process breaks through the limitations of conventional tool-making methods. Under the 3D-printing brand “Hengpu Picks,” we have rapidly become a rising force in the engineering-tool market, successfully introducing more than 30 product models across four key application areas: mining excavation, metro tunnelling, oil exploration, and road-and-bridge infrastructure.
Recognized as a Chinese National High-Tech Enterprise, Hengpu Laser has passed ISO 9001:2008 quality-management certification along with several other international accreditations. We control multiple core technologies and hold over a dozen invention patents (filed and granted). Our achievements include: First prize in the Global New Materials Industry Competition; Excellence Award in China’s National Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition; Hurun Rich list of China's most investment value nova Heilongjiang Top 10 and other Honors. Since the establishment, we have obtained several rounds of investment from famous investment institutions.

June 2013
The predecessor of Hengpu Laser, Harbin Hengpu Laser Application Technology Co., Ltd., was established by a team of overseas returnees with entrepreneurial backgrounds.
Early Stage
Initially focused on laser blade repair and 3D printing of large-scale components.
2016
The company transitioned into civil and industrial sectors, offering repair services for shield machine cutters and main shaft seal rings.
October 2016
Hengpu Laser made its debut at the Shanghai Bauma Exhibition, drawing widespread industry attention.
October 2018
Hengpu's road milling picks passed multiple wear resistance tests and were officially launched into the market.
February 2019
Relocated to Ningbo High-Tech Industrial Development Zone through a talent recruitment program.
December 2019
Technological breakthroughs in laser 3D printing further improved wear resistance and overall product performance.
March 2020
Launched mining picks and rotary excavation picks into the market.
October 2022
Products officially entered the Russian market and participated in the 100th Anniversary ofFar East Mining Centennial event hosted by the Yakutsk government.
December 2022
Relocated to Intelligent Innovation Accelerator Material park in Ningbo High-Tech Zone, The production area more than doubled, with five new laser R&D and manufacturing lines added, tripling production capacity.
October 2023
Presented as a wear-resistance solution provider at the 20th China International Coal Mining Technology Exchange and Equipment Exhibition.
2024
Initial testing of wear-resistant roller and ring components completed and products are gradually entering the market.

Hengpu Laser boasts a professional quality inspection team equipped with advanced testing instruments, including metallographic microscopes, Vickers hardness testers, Rockwell hardness testers, impact testing machines, universal testing machines, dynamic load wear testers, and manual concentricity testers. These devices enable comprehensive and precise quality assessments of products, covering material properties, welding integrity, mechanical performance, and other critical parameters. The quality inspection team strictly adheres to international standards and industry regulations, ensuring that every product undergoes rigorous testing and meets high-quality benchmarks.
